Beach hair balayage

After my island holiday I am missing the sun and sea in my hair!  Yup, my hair is fine so I love the volume that I get from the ocean.  I think a trip to the hairdresser and Sephora is in order.  A few highlights and some salt spray should help me re-capture some of that boho island spirit that I am not yet ready to give up.

Fresh Faced Beauty Makeup

Fab huh?!!  I LOVE the softness and colours.  Sophie Dahl is a stunning woman, but these colours will suit almost everyone.

It's always good to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques and products; to try new looks.  Makeup artist Lisa Eldridge makes it accessible.  Check out more of Lisa's makeup tips on her website...

Curling

So I am referring to curling eyelashes... not the Scottish ice sport.

I am always trying to make my eyes look bigger, more open.  I think eyeliner and mascara applied well does the trick, but have recently been reminded how much difference curling your eyelashes can make. Especially when you are a bit older and the eyelids are a little, well there is no good way to say this, but droopy.  It's amazing the difference it makes!  I love my Chanel curler!!

I also use Chanel mascara, but am looking for something more intense... Any suggestions?
