Trending Spring Summer 2014;  what's new in fashion, beauty and style at home.....

It doesn't matter if you love fashion and shopping, or if you don't.  This event is designed to be practical and informative, and most of all, relevant to our Malaysian lifestyle.  I will discuss where to shop for the best pieces this season, how to incorporate the latest styles in your wardrobe and what trends to stay clear from!!  A little info will go a long way in saving you time, money and shopping & wardrobe woes.

Weekend musings

Love this armchair -gorgeous!

The key to leopard print is an irregular pattern.

I am a little bit of a perfectionist, just a little.  Or perhaps obsessive?!  Either way I have needed wanted some cushions for my huge grey sofa for quite some time now.  I mean, I have been looking for a year now!  I think finishing touches need to be perfect. 

I love colour and was thinking something bright like an orchid purple.  But now I've found these leopard velvet cushions;  I am in L-O-V-E!!!!  They are so chic and timeless.  And they will look amazing with orchid purple.  I love bringing fashion home!

Going shopping

Gudang and Janine are two of my favourite furniture/ homeware shops in Kuala Lumpur.  Gudang's style is warm contemporary and Janine is more classic with a little European flair - think Designers Guild or Christain Lacroix (I have a CL cushion that I love - so fashion fun! I am definitely on the lookout for more).

Both stores are having a Christmas shopping event so I think there'll be some discounts on homewares such as LSA a glassware, Marimekko, Alessi...  I am going to check it out!

I will be at Bangsar Shopping Centre at 1pm - come join me!
